Ethashi just growled at Max. He wouldn't understand, they would manipulate him and drain him dry in seconds. She had seen them do it before, well not these two, but still. She then looked over at Jaylene and expected her to say the same thing as Max, when she just asked for her to bear them for now, she sighed. "You are right, I should take it a step at a time, it is better than that pit of a resturant I work at." Ashi laughed and ordered a drink. She looked over at Trent and laughed harder. "You hungry little guy?"
Trent just glared at Ashi and at his brother. Sometimes he just wanted to know how they were related.
Sam smiled brightly at Krista. "we'll sit together" She said, brushing the girls hair back. She then looked up. "Something was said of seafood...I have a weakness for shrimp, if that is not too expensive." She said. "thank you again for inviting us. We don't go out that often with friends."
She cast a subtle glance to the group across the restaurant, but tried to pay them no mind. it was none of her business whether people were going to be civil or not.

Max took his eyes off of the vampy and magical ladies to meet his brothers glare with a mock glare of his own, "I don't think he's hungry, Etashi. I think Broody here just wants to pout." He tilted his head as if he were thinking very hard, "Maybe it solves hunger. I think we should all try it!" saying that, Max jutted his bottom lip out in his best adorable pout, "Don't roll your eyes at us, Jaylene, join us!" his pout turned into a smile when Jay started to laugh at his silliness. "Anyone else up for a big basket of fries for the table? Or maybe the shrimp blossom!" by "share," he, of course, meant that he would jealously guard the dish from the others. His animal was a wolf, and guarding his food was instinct...or so he would tell them just to annoy them.
He glanced over at the girl's table again. Best. View. Ever. He smiled wider as he almost caught the tall woman's eye when she checked his table out. Max thought about approaching them. What would the harm be? He looked back at his friends and brother and thought that he'd try before they left. He was, after all, here to sober his brother up. Big darn sigh.

"Far too long," Alavda agreed with her old friend, "I'm here for the festival and I may stay for several weeks longer. We must spent time together and catch up." She turned her head at the door opening and saw Krista enter. She frowned, slightly concerned when the girl looked as if she saw a scary ghost when she spotted Lynn. She wondered how many vampires the girl had met to be so timid. If she had met few vampires, she would certainly be afraid of something so unfamiliar. On the other hand, if she had been around many...well, when vampires were bad, they were wicked. Depending on what group of vampires she was exposed to, Alavda would not blame the girl for being afraid. Even Alavda, a vampire since birth, found herself afraid of some of her own kind.
Ala summoned a smile to her face, "I also am weak to shrimp, Sam. I'm told by my hosts that the shrimp here is 'simply divine.'" Alavda made her voice sound more refined at the end of the sentence, mimicking her host. When Sam thanked her for inviting them to eat with her, she waved off her thanks, "No thanks are necessary. There are places in the world where they say that food tastes better when eaten with friends and acquaintances and I've found it to be true."
Feeling eyes on her, her eyes darted to the other larger party in the restaurant. That guy was looking at them again. She fought back a frown and leaned toward Lynn and whispered loud enough so that the other two women could hear her, "Am I crazy, or does that man keep looking at us?"
Erik got word from Max that he would be at the seafood restaurant and thought why not come. He tried to invite his brother, but it was a pretty busy day for him, seeing as the pack needed his attention for the upteenth time. Erik sighed as he walked in and saw all the woman in the place. Wow, they must not be from the island because they were way too pretty. He looked over at Max and smirked as he walked over and sat by him. "So, why are you over here?" His smirk only getting bigger until he sees Trent and the smile completely went away. "Ah, babysitting duty, that sucks." A mouth-full-of-food "shut up" came out of Trent's mouth which caused Erik to laugh. "Well, if you didn't try to always drink your pain away, I wouldn't say such thinks." Erik then looked over at Ethashi who just shook her head at him. "Rough crowd today." Erik said, his eyebrows raised.

"I did say you could have whatever you want, I am a woman of my word." Lynn smiles as she then looks over at Krista and asks her what she would like. She replied that she would just like some crab cakes. This made Lynn laugh and she nodded. "It is no problem at all, now, Alavda, what would you like, I think I will just pay for everyone today; It's a good day." Lynn smiles then looks over at the other large group and saw the two boys looking at her. She sighed and looked at Alavda. "Just like old times."

Max had fries stuffed in his mouth when his best bud showed up, "MMPH!" he couldn't say anything through the chewed-up fries, so he swallowed with a swig of his drink to help it go down, "My Flower!" he teased Erik with a rather feminine pet name -a joke between the two of them that Max had no intention of explaining- "What took you so long man?" he stood from his seat and gave Erik one of those aggressive hugs that men tend to give each other. When Erik asked him why he was where he was at instead of shamelessly flirting with the girls, Max replied, "Alas! It's true!" he threw a dramatic arm over his eyes, "I must watch over my smashed baby brother!" he peeked over his arm, he hoped Erik would see the mock inquisitive sadness he was going for, "What am I to do with him, Erik?"
He chucked at Erik when he couldn't get a positive reaction from any of his companions at the table, "Ignore them," he moved his hand in a sort of shooing motion as if dismissing the others, "Trent is probably getting an early hangover, Jaylene just saw her..er...boyfriend, and Ethashi here doesn't like breathing the same air as the sexy vamps over there," he gestured with his head to the table of females. Breathing out a sad sigh, he slumped in his chair, "And I am stuck here...babysitting."

"I think I'll have the shrimp, but you don't have to pay Lynn," Alavda said to her friend, "It's very kind of you though!"
She followed her friend's gaze to the other table. She had to admit that she was curious about them. If she was of a more mischievous nature, she would recruit her friends to...well, with the elf at the table, they would flirt from afar perhaps? Just to see what would happen. But Alavda wasn't the impish sort, so she was able to stifle the urge to play the coquette for now... but she could still be convinced. The edges of her mouth lifted in a small smile, "Not quite like old times," she chuckled, remembering how they would outrageously flirt back.
The door opened and Alavda barely kept her lip from curling in disgust from the smell of werewolf. For the most part, she didn't have much of a problem with the mongrels, but vampiric instinct made her ready for an attack.

Matthias had swiftly taken care of the pack business that had taken him away from his confrontation with that filthy shapeshifter. He had stomped all the way to the bar, intent on continuing on, but found the place locked. He felt like breaking the door in his frustration. He was about to do just that when he caught the faintest trace of Jaylene's scent in the air. A smile stretched across his face. Perfect.
He followed the scent trail until he came to the sea food restaurant. He stood outside for a couple of seconds before pushing the door open. The first thing he smelled were vampires. Sniff sniff! Two of them. His lip curled into a silent snarl. Wretched things. The only reason he didn't rush over to them and tear their blood-soaked throats out was because he had other things to do at the moment. But soon...soon he would be able to kill them. And he would enjoy every second of it.
This cheery thought was why he had a smile on his face when he approached the table that Jaylene and the shapeshifters were sitting at. The smile only got wider when he saw Jaylene's face grow pale at the sight of him. Oh yes, he thought, she knew she had messed up.
"Hey Babe," he said to her sweetly, reaching his hand out to stroke her jawline, "You miss me?" To anyone watching as this point, they would think he was the loving boyfriend he was pretending to be. Then he turned to Trent, his smile turning wicked. He wanted to provoke him, and he knew just how to do it, too. He reached over to the shapeshifter's plate and took a roll. He took a big bite out of it, chewed, then spat it on Trent's plate.

Lynn giggled at Alavda's response. That was right, way back when they would have had fun with the boys and flirted back with them. Ah, those were the days. She looked over at the group to see that they were having a good time when suddenly she got a smell of a bloody dog. Oh great, a werewolf was about to waltz in. No big deal, most of the people here seemed rather pleasant. She continued to think so until the guy came in the door and she saw on of the girl's face pale. She thought it be best that she not get involved quite yet, until she saw the man pick of the obviously hungover male and from what she could hear, spit it back out onto a ceramic item.
She saw the other werewolf ready to pounce, and thought it be best that this little restaurant not be destroyed so she walked over and put a hand on the rude werewolf's shoulder. "Excuse me," she said with the sweetest smile, "was that called for?" She now canted her head slightly.
Trent looked at the spit, looked back up at Matthias and was about to grab a napkin, take the spit-wad of food and wipe it on Matthias until the woman came over. When he saw her and saw how calm she seemed to be, his semi-recovering brain thought it would be a good idea to let her give it a go.

Just then, the door swung open conspicuously as Cyrus walked in with a grin and a jingle coming from the pouch on his pocket. "Heeeeyy, there you guys are!" He called as he walked through the restaurant to get to his new friends. At least, he hoped that's what you'd call it. His staff still clung to his back as he scooted past Matthias and Lynn, clicking against the table behind him awkwardly as he turned to avoid nudging the two with his body. "Woops, pardon. 'Scuse me. Comin' through." Either he couldn't read the atmosphere of the room, or he didn't acknowledge it.
"Sup guys?" He said happily as he approached the table Ala and Sam were at.

Matthias startled a bit when he felt a hand land on his shoulder. He was focused on Trent, so he hadn't noticed the filthy vampire woman approach him. He, typical of all werewolves, did not like vampires. He would even say that he hates them. And since Matthias was particularly prideful, he did not appreciate being startled like he was when he was trying to be threatening. Jumping in fright, after all, really ruined one's tough guy credibility. So that combined with her being a vampire, Matthias became quite miffed to say the least.
He slapped the vampire's hand away from him. He turned his head to her and growled, "This doesn't concern you, Blood Sucker," more growling followed. He was so enraged that he didn't notice the sorcerer scoot by him like he was just happily chatting with some old pals from college. "This is between me and the shapeshifter." he slammed his fist on the table without looking and ended up flipping it, scattering the plates and foot on top of it on the floor. He ignored Jaylene's plead for him to stop, shover her away from him when she tried to pull him back. She landed with a thud back in her seat, a pained grimace crossed her face. If he were a kinder man, he would have been concerned that he had hurt her, but Matthias did not care about such things.

Max was truly grossed out when Matthias spat the food back on the plate. What was this, elementary school? Even he wouldn't do that even if it meant that he would annoy his father while doing it. He was trying to decide if he wanted to interfere when one of the girls at the other table approached. He, too, was too focused on the confrontation to notice the sorcerer walk in. The table punching...flipping was just too far, especially when he treated Jaylene the way he did. Max stood from his seat, all signs of the laid-back, lazy heir dropped, which was how mad he was.
He grabbed Matthias's shoulder and pulled him away from the vampire girl, "Look at me not her, wolf. The only reason I'm not punching you right now is because this place doesn't need more damage than you've already created." he grabbed his shirt collar and got right in his face, "But with the way you've been treating my friend, a woman that you claim to love" he spat out the word "love" like it was a curse, "I'm starting to think that I wouldn't mind breaking a few tables over your head, Buddy."

Alavda almost stood from her seat to stop Lynn from approaching that table. She stopped herself, remembering that when her friend got this way, nothing short of knocking her out would stop her, and even then, she wasn't sure Lynn would not try to help. So she sat back down and kept watch to make sure that Lynn would have backup if needed.
She whipped her head to the door in time to see Cyrus enter the room, and then watched him casually stroll through the restaurant at them. "What is up?" she asked, flabbergasted. Did he not see what was happening? "You don't sense the tension in the room at all? she gestured toward the other table at the same time the werewolf flipped it.
This time she stood, swearing in her native tongue. She didn't approach right away. She thought he might have more of an advantage for...something if a fight broke out.

Trent looked back when he heard Matthias growl at the vampire. Sure she was, but at least she was being civil unlike this canoe. He was just going to intervene for that happenstance when he saw Matthias not only flip the table but push Jaylene to the ground and saw her pained face as he did it. He checked to see if his body had recovered well enough to fight or not. He did not feel dizzy anymore and he could clutch his fists without feeling strange. He was ready. He let Max and Erik have their time in with Matthias, while walking over to Jaylene and helping her up.
"Are you going to be ok?" He asked in a worried tone, sitting her down on a stool. "Don't be mad at me, but I need to take him outside and deal with him. I don't want anyone else in here getting hurt, so stay with the other group for now. They seem like good people if that vampire is their role model." Trent smiled as he motioned his head to the vampire that came over to try to help him. He then walked back over to Matthias and tapped his shoulder. "You. me. outside. now." He said sternly as he walked to the door.
