Personality:
Felix is a Sadist. He takes pleasure in the pain of others. He figures that he is so old that he can do as he darn well pleases, even if this means that he kills or hurts somebody. He is not above manipulation and blackmail to make things go his way. Even so, he is very protective of his clan, as are most clan heads. He has been known to be a charmer, especially to the ladies. Some would call him a womanizer, and this is true. It is also true that he is not faithful in his relationships.
Looks:
Felix is a handsome man with black hair and piercing grey/blue eyes. He has an athletic build and pale skin. He typically wears dark jeans and a partially-buttoned up shirt.
Likes:
Dislikes:
Goals
To keep his clan strong, sleep with many women, and to crush his enemies.
Fears
That the ghost of his wife will come to haunt him in reality as well as his dreams. To die by the paws of a werewolf/I]
Backstory
Family:
He had a wife (whom he killed), two living sons, (Thomas and one bastard that he neglected to kill), and a sister. Both of his parents are dead. He currently has a lover to...ahem...occupy his time.
Bio:
Felix has been around so long that it is difficult to really say where he was born and what he did in his youth before he met and married Thomas's mother against her will.
What is known however, is that Felix has never been mentally stable --and his age hasn't done anything to help. He takes joy in other people's misery and doesn't care who he kills or hurts. He even killed his own wife for reasons unknown to anyone but Felix and his wife.
He his old enough to remember the Roman Empire at its peak, but most of his fame comes from the Middle Ages. He became a terror of his species simply because of his gift, along with his disregard for the well being of others.
Being the leader of his clan, Felix has always been protective of it. He has always strived to make it stronger, and this could be anything from killing the weakest members, to crushing the rivals. One way to keep his clan strong is to create alliances with other clans. One of the strongest ways to do this is through marriage. He is not a good suitor for anyone because of his skirt-chasing ways. No father in his right mind would have his daughter marry Felix. His son however, would have been an excellent bargaining chip. The only thing standing in the way was that Thomas was in love with this French chit from a clan that was not prominent enough for Felix to accept. Thomas at this point was mostly independent of Felix and was master to his own bloodline. This means that although Thomas was obligated to assist Felix when the occasion called for it, Felix could not easily force him to leave her. One would like to say that Felix is a devout believer in "Work smarter, not harder", but the method of the solution to his little problem happened mostly because he fancied himself a trickster at the time (AKA, he was terribly bored). Felix tricked the two of them. He made Thomas run a rather complicated fool's errand to get him away from Alavda for a significant amount of time. While Thomas was gone, Felix used his gift to trick Alavda, into thinking that not only had Thomas drained her nearly dry, but he had also left her to die by sunlight. (In Reality, Felix was the one to drain her and left her unconscious body in the woods). He had hoped that the blood loss and sunlight would kill her and he left as the sun rose. He never checked if she had died.
Nowadays he lurks around his mansion, not doing much more than protecting his clan. He is disappointed in Thomas’s single-minded search for the French girl, but he knows that he will give up sooner or later. So for now, he waits…
The End of the Segment
Strengths:
He is a man of his word. If he promises something, he will keep that promise… most of the time at least. He is old enough that he has learned ways with bending the rules and the truth to suit his purposes. If he has any sort of affection for anyone, he will protect them from others (but that does not mean he will protect them from himself)
Weaknesses:
He will get his twisted truths mixed up. He has lived long enough that he has trouble keeping track of his many lies. He tends to make enemies of the women he once bedded. He gets bored easily, so he will become careless, or dawdle too long because he is playing with his pray
Special Ability:
He is what is known as a dream walker. He can enter someone’s dreams, but he doesn’t just walk through them. He can control someone’s view of reality through these dreams…a sort of compulsion if you will (ever wake up from a dream and wonder if it really happened? Could be Felix…). A person with a strong enough will can see through the dream, but even then it may take a while for them to recognize it since Felix has had centuries to master his technique.
How does your character handle the bloodlust
He feeds on whoever whenever. Sometimes he will take a nip from his own kind (even though this isn’t very nutritious…)
What side does your character take (Islanders or FASA):
FASA…but he is more on his own side. They will have to keep an eye on him
