She has a sweet nature and is laid-back. Although a bit cautious and quiet, she is generally friendly. Due to an event in her youth, she has a little trouble trusting people at first, but it doesn’t take very long for her to warm up to them She is family oriented and would love to have a family of her own.
Looks:
Alavda has always been a remarkable beauty. She has the figure of a 1950s bombshell (go hourglass figure woooo!). She has curly, black hair and green eyes that look as if there are orange flakes in them. She tends to wear dresses and skirts (take the lady out of the middle ages but you can’t take the middle ages out of the lady…) but she has been known to rock skinny jeans once in a while.

She wants answers because even as clearly as she remembers him leaving her, something didn’t feel right about it.

Bio:
Born in Nice, France in 1457, Alavda’s early life was not a happy one. When she was seven years old, her mother died while giving birth to her younger sister, Lily. Lily died hours later, too weak to survive her premature birth. After her mother’s death, her father was never the same. He went was a jovial man, a good father, to someone cold and distant - especially to Alavda since she looked so much like her mother. He didn’t neglect her, however. He made sure she was taken care of as any father ought to. He handed her over to governesses and tutors to teach her all that a young lady of quality should know. She excelled in singing. Her teacher said she had the voice of a songbird. She hoped to please her father with her voice, but she never knew if she did since he never stayed very long in the room with her. After a while, she told herself that she accepted that her father was simply emotionally gone. But she felt cold.
One day, her life suddenly discovered a more springlike state when she met Thomas Steele. She fell hard for him. One day, she ran away with him to marry him. Before they could get to a church, however, Thomas took her for a stroll in the woods…and bit her. He drained her of so much blood that she passed out. She woke up hours later in the woods, covered in the fallen autumn leaves. This left her confused and heartbroken. She was found by her brother. he was on the run himself. He told her that their father had just been killed by hunters and that they had to run. She was too weak from bloodless to argue anything. He carried her off to safety. he died years later at the blade of a Damphir. Little does she know that Thomas’s Father, Felix, who has the ability to invade people’s dreams and place a false reality targeted her. He was the one who drained her of her blood and placed her in the woods. He is also responsible for her family’s deaths, but she does not know this either.
For years she made a living from various rolls in Opera, refusing to take money from those she accidentally killed. Currently she is traveling around, taking a break from the stage for a few decades. Who knows where life will take her?

Strengths:
Alavda is charming, seemingly more charming than she is because of her French accent that she never quite shook off. She also sometimes uses her looks and accent to make people think she is dumber than she actually is. This has helped her feed in the past Her kindness is probably her greatest strength. She knows what it is like to be alone, so she will make sure that none of her friends feels that way if she can help it.
Weaknesses:
She can be quite gullible. She gets rather gloomy at times, having lost all of her family. Even though she deeply resents Thomas for what he did to her, she still loves him
Special Ability:
She can see what someone has done in the past by touching them with her bare hands. She can somewhat control it, but she wears gloves most of the time so that she doesn’t see what others would rather she wouldn’t.

She usually takes blood from the donated supply, but if she needs to she will feed on someone who wouldn’t be missed (in case she takes too much from them)
