Some say that his playful attitude is a facade--this is partially true. When it counts, but he'll usually try to keep up a playful air (because, come on...he has a reputation to keep up. He can't have people thinking that he's a stuffy SERIOUS shifter. Please!)

Bio:
Being the oldest in the Landon family, his father has piled a ship's worth of expectations on his shoulders. When the time comes, Max is expected to take over control of the shapeshifters. Max, being a free spirit of sorts, never wanted that role. For years, he has made vain attempts to convince his father to pass on the responsibility to someone else. Some of his methods included neglecting his studies, smoking, sleeping around, being lazy, and not taking anything seriously. So far, Max has not succeeded to make his father pass it down to someone who would want to have such a high position on the island. As a result of his father's pressure, Max has been known to have panic attacks. In order to keep his head, he's taken up chain smoking.

Strengths:
He may not seem like it, but he is a very loyal person to those he loves. He is good at hiding his distress.
Weaknesses:
He typically avoids conflict because he is already under enough pressure. His Chain smoking (health reasons, addiction, and the smell gives him away). He doesn't take many things seriously.
